Peace Wapiti Public School Division has been advised of a case of COVID-19 at Robert W. Zahara Public School in Sexsmith. The individual last attended the school on Thursday, February 11.

The following Good News Report from Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) and its schools will be shared at the upcoming Board meeting on Thursday, February 18, 2021.

PWPSD invites prospective candidates to submit nomination forms for school board trustee positions in nine electoral wards. Forms must be submitted by appointment to Central Office by noon on Nomination Day, Monday, September 20, 2021.

Students and staff at PWPSD schools are welcoming Goota Desmarais during her virtual Inuit Connections presentations on February 1-25, part of the annual PWPSD Indigenous Speaker Series.

Late pick-ups cause delays for other students who are waiting along the route.

Kindergarten online registration is open to children turning five in 2021. Junior Kindergarten online registration is open to children turning four in 2021. Families who register by March 31 will be entered to win an iPad – draw date is early October.
